Lt230 Trouble

Hi I am new to the site. My suzuki 1987 lt230 quadsport was running fine until yesterday. My son was riding it and he hit the kill switch so it shut off. but then the kickstart was locked up. It will roll in neutral though. Wondering if anyone could tell me how to fix it??

this worked for me when that happen to the same bike. My buddy put it in gear and pushed it backwards. Give it a shot maybe youll get lucky like I did.

You can take the side case off the side that has the kick starter on it an see what it looks like in there. Grab ahold of the clutch basket while in there and see if you can turn the engine of trans. I wonder if the engine seized or a gear broke in the trans. I hope not
