Metal Floorboards?

I am the proud owner of a 2003 Vinson 500 automatic.I recently read(possibly here)about metal floorboards for a Vinson,so I went to my Suzuki dealership,asked about them,and was told theyre not available for an automatic.I also inquired about a repair manual,and was told theyre also not available for this quad.Anybody have any clue as to why? any answers would be appreciated. I DONT KNOW ABOUT THE 2003, BUT I BOUGHT A REPAIR MANUAL FOR MY 2002 VINSON FROM THE DEALER. IT WAS AROUND 50 BUCKS :rider:
