This is my first winter as an ATV owner. It's now 5 degrees in PA. i can't get the this blasted thing started. I've tried all of the manual recommendations. I took the line off of the shut off control and noticed that I couldn't get any fuel to run out. i tried all three positions (res, prime, on) to see if i could even get a trickle. The Fuel pump is working. I was able to get to gas to suck out of a cup thruought the line as I tried to start it. Could the shut off control vlave be frozen? Any suggestion? I want to get out a plow my drive and then play in this white powder.

If you pulled the hose off and opend the valve, and nothing came out. I would say that the valve is frozen. Try to get that thing warmed up, maybe try a hair drier, and then try it again.

40 degrees all day today. added Dry gas and used ether in air filter. No luck. Pulled hose off shut off valve and still no fuel running. As I turn the shut off valve from on to prime and back I notice a small leak at the switch area. It look like my clog is in the half inch section between the shut off switch to the 90 degree angle the starts the recepticle for the fuel line. Any suggestion on how to get unclogged?
