Thanks for the suggestion. But if it was the Neutral Switch wire, then I wouldn't get a reverse indicator light when I move the reverse lever into reverse. According the the wiring diagrams, the Neutral switch provides the ground to both the Neutral Indicator Light and the Reverse Indicator Light. Depending on the position of the reverse lever.
