The 2005 LTz400 and KFX400 use a new material to cast ther right engine case (cluch cover). The coolant that ships with the ATV will rapidly deteriorate the material untilk there is a large hole in the engine case inside the water pump. Your collant may also become dark or murky once enough material is absolbed into the coolant. Get this cover replaced with the aluminum part from 2004 LTz400 before the coolant makes it's way into the crank case!

I had heard from a local dealer that they were making good on them.

Tha cases breaking down has also contaminated the whole engine and has wiped out a few motors.

I will see him tommorow and double check with him.

Even the one at the dealer was breaking down the side cover.

class action suit..
Everyone start planning on cashing that $0.65 cent check.. The only people who make out in class action suits are the lawyers

deal directly with the dealer ..most would stand behind the machines, then they can warranty them through the manufacturer
