I don't race but my quad is slowly being filled with aftermarket parts.

426

Red label Douglas rear rims (w/Maxxis)

ITP fronts

ProTaper bars

IMS gear shifter

UM Air Box, w/ K&N Filter and outerwears cover

Pro Armor Nerfs

LSR +4 rear axle

Houser +2 a-arms

So I know where I can get a BRAND NEW set of +2 Arms made by LSR

Most people would agree that the LSR brand is a little better than Houser.

I paid $300 for the Housers (used) and they need to be pc'd

For about $400 I can get the LSR arms, Brand new ALL Chrome with (tie rods, ball joints, and tie rod ends)

These would normally sell for well over $700 or $800

They are brand new never installed but they are the 03' or 04' model.

Financially, it sounds like you should sell off the Housers and pickup the LSRs. You could easily put $100 into the Housers with a rebuild kit and powder coating.

I was motivated to put a wider front end on my ATV because the front suspension was pretty bad on the 04YFZ. Wider makes for awsome cornering, but it will slow you down in tight trails. My ATV's front end is right at the AMA limit of 50 inches with my MX wheels. When I occassionally race Atlantic Grand Prix hare scrambles, I put on my stock wheels which makes the front width a whopping 51.5" and I really had no complaints.

Well it seems although I answered my own question.

I just bought the housers back in Sept or Oct. and only rode them once. I paid $300 shipped to my door

and have since bought new ball joints.

So I'd be willing to sell the for $300 shipped.

Now I'm only needing to find a buyer for them before the LSR's are gone. Oh and come to find out the LSR's are really $450

SUPERCHICKEN - if you want them let me know asap. $300 shipped. (I'll ship them as soon as i can finalize the deal on the LSR arms)

LET ME KNOW.

Thanks

John

If they already have new ball joints, is there any reason not to keep them?
