2003 Warrior.
Idles fine, stumbles upon acceleration, clears up ...until i change gears and accelerate again....then it feels like the engine just cuts out for a sec...then takes off again.
Was backfiring....I changed the spark plug....it cleared up. The spark plug appears to have burned oil on it ?

If the ATV has been sitting for 6 months or more and the fuel could have gone bad, then suspect a clogged carburetor. You can run a double dose of Sta-Bil in the gas and see if that clears it up. Draining the fuel bowl is adviseable too.

If the fuel hasn't gone bad, suspect the ignition coil. I've had an ignition coil go bad on a Warrior before and it demonstrated the same problem.
