Trying to get the quad running. It's unfortunately been sitting for a while and now trying to get it going. Cleaned the carb, dumped fuel and put new in, and charging up a new battery. When I jump it, it runs with the choke pulled. The minute I put the choke all the way in, it dies. Sputters for a bit and that's it. Right now trying to make sure the pilot jet is clear and made sure that the rubber connecting the carb to the engine wasn't somehow broke and leaking. Anybody have any ideas what else it maybe. Guess the trip to Wis. may have to be postponed!

Thanks!

seems to be a carb related issue. take the carb back off. COMPLETELY disassemble it and soak it in a carb cleaner tank over night then blow out every port that you can see with compressed air. Assemble and go thru all your adjustments as needed. Im sure it will run like new again.

you can get the gallon container of carb soak with the basket at napa or probably any parts store.its expensive but you can use it again and again. sometimes the ports in a carb are just to small or to badly restricted and the carb sparays are a waste of time.soaking them usually breaks down any garbage thats in there. good luck.

When cleaning that carburetor, make sure to remove the fuel mixture screw to clean inside there. That's the center of your low speed fuel circuit which is likley causing the problem. Count how many turns it takes to seat (close) the adjustment screw so you know how many turns out to put it back at.
