Here we go again... a little TLC turns into major project.. I can just feel it....
I need the following:
1) Choke broke, initially I thought it was frozen, slim slim chance it still is, but doubtful, its stuck in '1/4 on' position I think, so it rides fine, just a rough idle and oh-so-occasional stumble.
2) 4x4 is 2.5x4 now... this started today... 4wheel drive seems to engage, I can hear the motor, but when plowing or any heavy motor load, I'd say fronts were 20% of what they normally are... this, cannot be good...... and plowing in 2WD was useless. I can definitely feel the difference between ACTUAL 2WD and 4WD, but 4WD again is barely 20% of normal.. Nothing got hot, cuz it started immediately after I got on.......
3) Front brakes, maybe rears too
4) Winch rebuilt, you should hear it, not nice... Someone here said they rebuilt there own...maybe DonnoDevilDog??
5) Drive belt..why risk it.... its original, over 2,000 very hard driven miles.
6) 2 tires need repatching, slow leaks getting faster... lasts maybe 2 days.
7) WARN IN/OUT switch doesnt always go OUT until I hit IN sometimes, didnt happen today, but its happened everytime before this storm... Just a switch I'd imagine.
8) I need handgrips bad, they're bald. MUDSMYNAME, what did you reccomend last time again?
I hinted at wifey about a new bike for summer, just to drop the hint....she said "r u crazy?" ... I'd say her answer is a "no".
In any event, it's a toss up.. 08 KingQuad750, or 08 Grizzly 700 w/ PS ....

Drop the Q . The name is OURY grips
http://www.ourygrips.com.
They are very soft grips. The only problem I had was they are so soft the glue doesnt hold well so they had to be wired in place.
Mark I dont get how come your quad always has so many problems all at once.
I think its time for a new one .

Idunno Jim... but when it rains, it pours....
MY DESKTOP PC DIED about an hour ago, data intact (plus I backup often) I got my troubleshooting down to power supply.... but hears the deal with that.. My PC is a SHUTTLE!! It's a mini-desktop, which means mini-power supply which means about double the $$$ or more..

No T-CAT here thanks.... checked out recent feedback in DIRTWHEELS magazine, and Arctic Cats had one of the lowest scores (400sand 450s)... but on a good note, My Kodiak was #2....... (NOT TODAY MIND YOU)

Want feedback?? Invite some reporter to a really cool ranch in Utah, give him a quad, tell him how great it is, point out flaws on the competition, and buy him a steak dinner. Then when he's heading home remind him you'll be spending 250k on advertising with his magazine.
If you wanna talk to real life Cat Fans, come over to Arctic Chat, and talk to some real life owners. They tell it like it is, good or bad.
