Well I'm working on getting the old Yamaha back in shape (YFM200 Moto4). I need to change the oil, so I called the Yamaha Dealer to ask what to put in it. They tell me 20w-40? I assume that only Yamalube comes in 20w-40 because I can't find it ANYWHERE. Would a 10w-40 work? or should I go with a 20w-50?

Thanks!

You should be able to find that in any motorcycle/ATV shop. Just make sure it's approved for the wet clutches in your machine. If you use regular motor oil, the detergents can destroy your clutch in a hurry, I learned the hard way.

Thanks BIGCATDAVE, I didn't know that. I will just make a trip to the Yamaha store and get some Yamalube. I do not want to have to replace the clutch.
