I had 3 plugs in 1 tire and it held up fine! Changed it before I went to West Virginia though, wasn't taking any chances

Till the new rears come in there will be about 6-8plugged holes (around 10+actual plugs) in the one rear tire.

Its has seen all kinds of stuff incuding those nice boulders of TCTRI in that condition and the only problems I have had besides worry of them coming out was a slow leak.

If its on the fronts I change them out a lot sooner though.

the correct way to repair the tire is remove the tire from the rim and install a patch in it ... Personally, I'll throw a tire out before I put a plug in it ... EXCEPT, in an emergency ... then I'll plug it and replace the tire when I can ... JMO

Not for a quad tire they have very low air in them so the patch wont hold. I tried it twice and I went right back to the plugs. I rode the whole WV trip on a tire with a plug in it. Slug rode the rest of the day with 4 plugs in his tires.
