2004 Suzuki Vinson Exhaust Manifold Red Hot

Had my 2004 vinson out in water, water came over tail pipe and killed motor, got out and checked carb and cleaned, checked gas for water, none, and air box was dry also. Now exhaust manifold runs red hot. Any suggestions?

If you had the exhaust under water when the quad shut-off, no doubt there is water in the oil and such.... Check it again. Sounds like the exhaust is blocked and that is why the manifold runs hot. Remove the muffler and see if there is anything blocking the air flow. JMO
