Hello. I posted a question a while back about my Polaris Scrambler 400 4x4,that had a hole in the engine caused by a shattered piston skirt.Well I got it back from the shop (this thing will scream now) but,the first day I had it back,I hit a hill really hard, and also a big rock, which i didnt see,So now Ive broken the wheel bearing housing, which is cast aluminum. Its not completley broken into, but its pretty bad.My mechanic says theres a magnet of some kind in there, and if you dont get it back in just right, the 4-wheel drive wont work right. My question now is can I JB-weld this?can it handle the forces generated by the front wheel doing its thing?I just went to their website(jb weld),and it says its as strong as steel.Any input would be appreciated.thanx,EXe3. By the way,its a 97 model 2-stroke,if it matters.

Your guess is as good as mine. I have personally repaire cracked blocks with it before with out a problem. Just make sure you get that magnet in there right.
