Well, last time I rode at MarGinJoeys house, we heard a grinding noise after jumping. After checking out the bike, we saw that the muffler bracket was broken and thought that might have been rubbing on the frame making the noise.
Well, I got the bracket welded last night, but the grinding was still there. So when I got home, I checked out what I thought the problem might be, and I was right! The front spocket has NO teeth left on it What the heck can cause that? Is it a faulty sprocket? Warranty covered?

No teeth? Is that a southern quad? Unless you have an extended warranty, don't count on it being covered.

I do have the extended warranty on it. Not sure what I am going to do with it yet. If I call them, they may want to keep it or not be able to do it for a couple weeks
I am going to call a couple local guys and see what they want to do it, first.

When the chain wears out, it wears out the sprockets also. More so the front sprocket since it turns in the chain many more times than the back sprocket and you may just be due for chain and sprockets
Thinking is would not be warranty since this would be a maintainance item

Dave, two things....
First...POLARIS=weak sprockets. Could just be from drivig in all the mud and stuff and just wearing out. Could also be from a loose chain, once it jumps a tooth, it just continues to do so.
Second..... i have a front sprocket for your quad, brand new in package($10). If you got the time to cruise over here one night, or Saturday, i'll will gladly put it on for you(not all that hard).
