hey just want to get some ideas should i leave the air box on and just put a pro design air filter and alluminom manifold or run to seprate air filters of the carbs wit outerwears on them

All depends on what kind of riding you plan on doing with it. You don't want the open filters if you run trails or in mud or wet conditions.

just for racing mx and some trails i try to stay clear of mud and water any way but i mean wat will give me better performace do u think

The better performance still depends on the type of riding. Stuff like drag racing or duning would see some benefit to the top end preference of those with the seperate intakes and they dont have any concern on water etc.

For trails or many times even MX you may not only want to hold onto the air box but some riders I have talked with even claim to have improved the bottom end hit (like what you want coming out of a turn to hit the next jump etc) and little top end loss with the single carb set up and air box.

Seems like you may have some thinking to do.

Leave the box. Get the filter and throw away the lid. Get some V-force reed valves and a boost bottle.

Hopefully your already piped. If not get those too and a jet kit. You'll be screemin'! :rider:

True and learning things the hard way does leave a stronger longer lasting impression in ones mind, but trusting the opinions of others with experience can save you a ton of trouble.
