Has anyone that cleaned their belt and clutches removed/replaced the rotors without using a rotor holder tool. I just wanna know if you have any ideas, I would hate to have to buy a rotor holder from Suzuki if there is another way. I got them off but putting them back on with a torque may be a problem holding them without spinning.

TIA

I USED BREAK CLEAN TO CLEAN MOST OF IT. I USED AN IMPACT GUN TO REMOVE AND RE-INSTALL EVERYTHING. I SET THE GUN AT ITS LOWEST SETTING, THEN KEPT TURNING UP THE STRENGTH ON IT TILL IT WAS SET HIGH ENUFF TO REMOVE THE NUT. WHEN IT WAS TIME TO PUT IT BACK TOGETHER I USED THE SAME TORQ TO TIGHTEN IT BACK ON. :rider:

Are you guys sure you would want to be cleaning the belt with brake cleaner?

It may clean it up good but seems to really soften rubber pretty good, and I would be hesitant to use some that harsh etc.

Maybe a good rubber cleaner would suffice.
