Newbie here, Would like to know if someone could tell me where the tranny/trnsfer case drain plug is located on a 2001 Polaris 325 Trail boss, or does it even have one?

Thanks

I'm not sure on the 250, but if it is anything like my Scrammy or my girlfiends Boss 330, it is located on the left side (looking from the rear). It looks like a motor mount or bracket of sorts. You have to first loosen the jam nut, then screw in the long bolt that mates up against the frame.(this keeps the plug from backing out) After doing this, unscrew the drain plug. Reverse proceedure to install. Do not over tighten the bolt against the frame. Only snug it up to it. Fill the trans thru the dipstick hole. Hope this helps.

Thanks
