Here's one for you Polaris Guru's. I recently purchased a 1996 400 Sportsman 4x4 with a blown engine. Instead of rebuilding the motor. I found a complete 2004 400 Sportsman engine w/ clutch & cover with approx. 45 hrs on it. Will this engine bolt, fit & work properly with no mods. in my 1996 frame? Also I am worried about the new engine's wire connectors pluging in to my stock harness.
I'm looking for any feedback or advice!
