i only have five or six hours on my quad i start it 5 minute later the header pipe
is very hot i mean red red cherry glow hot so i shut it down can someone
help please......... onyx newbie

Someone probably has an answer for you but you also have a warranty on that thing maybe let the dealer look it over.

That is absolutly normal. Mostly just at idle. They all do it, even the bikes.

Nothing to worry about.

I had a simular situation on a warrior- i had found a plug in the fuel tank vent line. This was causeing 1/2 the amount of required fuel to flow.The quad would start but the pipe got very red. But i would look at fuel delivery 1st. Be careful lean conditions could cause quite the "motor meltdown". :smiliethumbup:

Cronic is correct. Mine has done this for over a year.
Even if you run aftermarket exhaust it turns red.
I even have my YFZ running rich and this does not help.

Don't worry about it...just ride...
