I have a 99 yamaha wolverine 350 that has been sitting for 2 yrs. when I first got it started it would not idle but wouldrun great at wide open throttle. after cleaning the carb of all the old crap that was in it now it will only idle and when you try to run above idle it backfires and won't run. HELP.

Your wolverine has the same set set up as a warrior I believe,the rev limitor is engaged. Up by the brake lever where the e-brake is follow that wire down the handle bars,you'll have to take the front fender off and then you can just unplug it. The ignition coil should be right there too check and see if that is crapped up.

thanks warriorchris you hit the nail on the head. this quad belongs to my step son and he is in no way mechanically inclined. so my wife and i thought we would ride it. anyway thanks again.
