One of the screws on the brake fluid reservoir cap is stripped. There are 2 torx head screws holding the cap on and one of them is stripped out. I might be able to use a small flat head screw driver, but if that doesn't work, anyone have any other ideas?

You could drill the head of the screw off without damaging the cap. Remove the cap and thread out what's left of the screw with a pair of dyke cutters.

Good luck.

Hey David... ok..this is what i did when i had that happen. I used a dremel tool with a small grinding bit the width of a flat head screwdriver. I used the grinder to make a screwdriver slot. Before i tried with the screwdriver i used a sharp tipped punch..and with the screw a couple of taps then used the flat screwdriver. The screw unscrewed. I did of coarse have to but new screws.
Hope this helps

I have one also, but i sure aint gonna drive it down there.....LOL. If you dont get it off by next meeting i'll bring it there. You could also try tapping a bigger Torx driver in the hole with a hammer, or a similar size allen key/driver. If not, get a match and a gallon of gasoline....
