Congrats on your new purchase. I have the 04 model and couldn't be happier with it. In order to wake that thing up you should get a clutch kit, and pipe. There are many aftermatket companies that make parts for Gen3 machines. Which is what we have. I have the Hot seat performance kit on mine but am thinking of upgrading soon. Also a chain tensioner is a MUST if you are going to do any kind of jumping with it. A buddy of mine just broke his tranny case last week because he didn't have one and was jumping.
Polaris really has a great product in the gen3 machines. I really think they need an upgrade though. If you have anymore questions please feel free to email me. Check out my signature.
