JUST PUT A SET OF ITP BAJA WHEELS ON MY 400EX . THE DESIGN OF THIS WHEEL HAS A RENFORCEMENT RING ON BOTH INNER AND OUTER THE INNER FRONT SEEMS DANGEROUSLY CLOSE TO THE BRAKE CALIPER IT'S NOT TOUCHING BUT DAMM CLOSE KEEP IN MIND IM USING STOCK CALIPERS AND HUBS . WAS THINKING OF MACHINING DOWN THE CALIPER TO GET MORE CLEARANCE ANYBODY ELSE EVER HAD THIS HAPPEN AND HOW MUCH CAN YOU TAKE OFF THE CALIPER WITHOUT WEAKENING IT TO MUCH . THANKS IN ADVANCE MARK I'LL TRY TO ADD A PIC OF THIS LATER. NOW THAT I GOT THE PIC UP YOU CAN GET A BETTER IDEA OF WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT .

Just remember, depending on how hard you ride it, the rim will flex.

I would machine down the reinforcing ring before cutting into a brake caliper, go a little too far into the caliper could make it weak remember the ring is there just to reinforce it the caliper is there to stop the bike
