I was riding about 3 hrs and no problems. I've never had any problems with my Wolverine but we stop for a 10 drink break and when we started our bikes back up mine wouldnt get out if its own way. It will idle, but as soon as u press the throttle it just lugs. If anyone has one of those reverse limiters that keeps you from going fast in reverse until u press the button, thats what it sounds and acts like. My wife has a Trail Boss with this limiter on it and its exactly what my bike does. I installed new plug, tore the carb down and new gas. Nothing same problem. HELP............

This is a common problem on Raptors. There's an RPM limiter that kicks in when you engage reverse and, I'm pretty, sure the parking brake. You might want to play with the reverse and emargency brake controls because you may have a stuck switch on one of them.

I know that's not much advice, but at least its somewhere to start looking. Good luck.

My Wifes 96 and my 05 both do the same thing when the emergeny brake is on... Maybe a cable is stuck...

Your rev limitor is engaged on the parking brake. It has the same set up as a warrior, you have to follow the wire down from the parking brake underneath the front fenders and then you can disconnect it.
