Help my Yamaha Kodiak 450 sputters in water! And the water doesnt even have to be deep either (Less than 1 foot) . My guess is its a miss when the spark plug wire gets wet, maybe its arching somewhere before getting to the plug. Anyone have any ideas where I could start?

when your kodiak drys out get yourself a spray bottle with water in it. spray down the wiring little at a time listening to the engine.this way you can pin point the exact trouble spot. spray the coil down to to make sure the case isnt cracked. A good trick too is to add a little salt in with the water solution to help conduct electricity just remember to wash it all off when your done.Good luck
