Hey all, I forgot to post this wonderful tip I got from Joel over at MontanaJacks.

This would help ALL steel cable winch owners. Every couple of months, you can "lube the cable" by dropping a few (very few) drops of Automatic Transmission fluid right on the cables when wound. Tranny fluid (nothing fancy-just normal ATF) is very good at getting into the nooks n crannies of the cables and goes a loooong way in maintaining the cable, the roller fairlead (even non roller types) and other internal components.

Just thought I'd share! Thankyou Joel!
