ok so i suck at anythig mechanical when it comes to working on my bike i noticed my clutch
cable is starting to fray(just a couple of strands)do i change it now if so what is the best way
like i said i have no clue

i installed new cable this morning, but i cant get it adjusted i cant get no play in lever,
its harder to pull than old one what do i do now,what and how do i adjust it right,what do the
adjustments on cable near lever do .i want to go out sunday

You may have recieved an incorrect cable for your ATV, or you may have a second adjuster.

If you look at the clutch cable on the YFZ450 (item #10 http://www.imagessite.com/OEM_Images/Yamah...4YFZ450S31.gif), you see they placed a adjuster in the middle of the cable that's in additon to the adjuster on your clutch perch.

Other than that, check your installation to make sure both ends of the cable housing are seated as they should be.

it was incorrect exchanged it and new one works fine,they gave me a cable that was to short
i was going crazy trying to adjust.......thanks guys
