Just informational for yfz owners: For a while now Ive been having problems with my hi beams cutting out, finally tracked it down to the harness behind the right headlight.Once removed you can see the hearness is zip tied to the frame rail and the wiring rubbed thru shorting to ground. I imagine other wires could rub thru in that harness causing other issues.

I didn't like the wires routed between the plastic, under the left "450" decal and the sub frame. I disconnected all those wires and routed them between the air filter box and the subframe instead. You might want to check to see if your wires rub there too.

As I was reading this post I was thinking of the same thing but you beat me to it.

After I powdercoated the frame, I routed some of the wiring a different way also.
