Hello All,

Have a question from anyone familiar with removing a starter from a LT80. Well to start off it keeps blowing the circuit breaker. Too much draw. I unbolted the two bolts on the outside of the case and tried to remove but it hits the opposite side case before I can swing it out. I spoke to a local shop and they told me the book says that I need to unbolt the housing from the nose and separate before trying to get it out. I had a ball removing 5 phillip head screws and still no luck. Anyone have any tricks? It appears someone had a better idea with this design.

There is a guy that is an expert on these.

This is from the MiniATV's forum.

He is known over there as LT 80.
