2000 Suzuki King Quad

Can anyone give me a suggestion? My 2000 King Quad 300 CC is stalling out on me after I run it steady for about 30 minutes. After 5 or 10 minutes it will start again and it will run for about a mile and then it will just shut off. THis happens over and over untill it sets for a long period of time. I've drained the tank to make sure no clogs in the lines and I've taken apart the on/off/primer do-hicky and cleaned it all out. Problem still is there. Could my problem be the fuel pump? I don't know a lot about the ATV but the fuel pump does seem to be mechanical because there is no wiring to it. :hmm:

I dont know much about how your quad is set up,kind of surprised there is a fuel pump.most quads are gravity feed.
Most stalling problems usually relate back to the carburator.either plugged jets or float level incorrectly adjusted.If you dont know much about carbs but have some skills maybe just pop the carb and bring it to your dealer.this will save you some labor time and you will know the carb is set up right.

Make sure the fuel tank breather is not clogged. If there's a vacuum in the tank, you'll have problems after a while. The next time the problem occurs, remove the fuel cap to let the tank vent, close it back up, and see if the problem disappears.
