I have to crank my '99 grizzly for ten minutes before it will start. It runs fine after I get it starrted. Anyone have advise?

start with basics dude. check for spark at the wire.if thats ok give it a snort of either in the air box.if it fires then you know its fuel related and you can go after the carb.

Is it hard to start with or without the choke???Also is there any mods done to it like a pipe airbox,snorkle?
When was the last time it had a new plug....
