I am trying to change my front brake pads on an 04 V-force.. I just did the bearings and figured while I had it broken down ..time to change the brakes.
Only one problem.. I can't get them to set up correct.. anyone local who can give me a hand I will appreciate it , sheet, I'll bring it to ya.?
otherwise I'll bring it to the dealer .. I hate to do that since I just dropped $ 250.00 into it ..

Thanks,

Did you expand the caliper using a c-clamp?

Those brakes are different from left to right sides of the ATV. Maybe you didn't order the brake pads for the correct side of the machine.

I have that diagram .. I can't seem to find where the smaller pad get's attached, I know where it goes ,but it sets loose and tends to move before the hub is replaced.. maybe i just attack it w/ a clear head again..

Thanks guys !

From the diagram, it looks the same as the brakes on the Scrambler. After compressing the caliper and inserting the brake pads, are you bleeding the brakes??
