any body hear help me out i have a couple of pc`s some were network pcs from work no passwords but i thought for the kids to im and whatnot.....1 xp, 2 windows 2000 pro.. any help is appreciated

No passwords means the kids cant use the PC? Or you are asking for passwords to be set?

The more important info is, how did you get a work PC with "works" WINDOWS on it!!

The license goes with the box I'm guessing... Ask one of the work techie guys to change the Admin password to whatever you want it to be.

I need to unlock the system and do not have the password or admin. password, so basically it is a useless box...

Or go out on the Internet and find a "program" to try to get the pwds for you... Be careful that you don't get something else that you didn't want!

Yea I just thought during startup ..hit f4 or one of those buttons and you could just unlock it...oh well... And like Tim said but I dont want to catch something I dont want... its been a longtime since ive done that... lol

I'm told there's some good programs to do that for approximately $5 on Ebay. I haven't tried it myself, though.
