I was riding and she just died. Like it ran out of gas except no putter before. She had plenty of gas. still getting a spark. turns over fine, but won't start. Took it to the shop they said I have a bad lower bearing. But to me if the bearing is out she wouldn't turn over at all. Is it possible that is just bad enough to not start and still turn over? I checked spark, checked my coil. can't seam to figure it out. Started to tear apart my emgine to look at the bearing, and found some shavings in my oil filter. If it is there bearing please explain to me how it is possible.

Bearings don't have sieze in order to fail. They can also loosen up and fall apart.
