i was recently on the ssrt trails and swamped the kodiak in a mudhole over the seat and had to winch out the belt case was full of water to the point the tires wouldnt even turn i drained the water out of the glove box airbox belt case and drained the gas out of floatbowl to insure no water opened the belt case and dried the belt now it goes but at full throttle it wont go over 20mph was able to limp it back to the truck anyone have any ideas and what to do to fix it engine runs fine idles fine at 20mph the engine is screaming [/b]

I didn't know about the engine screaming part. if it was in limp mode it would limit the rpm's so if its screaming and not going it's not in limp mode, the water or just the being that stuck may have caused your clutch to become jammed, in that case the belt would just stay in one spot on the cone and it would run like a manual shif in first gear. Make sure the cvt clutch is free and also make sure you didn't just glaze the belt to the extent that it's just slipping on the hub that bad. This is the type of thing that is kinda hard to diagnose without me actually seeing the machine
