just a question. is the raptor axle the same as the warrior/banshee? the raptor is an 01. any help would be appreciated. :smiliethumbup:

You should try matching part numbers on Yamaha's website (www.yamaha-motor.com).

They are not the same, but they are interchangable. By adding a banshee axle to the raptor, you will widen the rear by two inches..But the banshee axle is weaker than a stock raptor....should be ok, unless you race or hit big jumps...

Correct they will fit into the carrier etc. but as stated they are also different and there is a difference between the 01 and later raptors also.

I have not been thru this with all stock parts but I know LSR axles will have different threads for the two years and the banshee axle will off set the center of the wheels slightly also if used on a raptor, and some also have the thread problem.
