A friend of mine just traded in his Warrior for the YFZ450. He loves it. He can't believe the power curve. He already dragged a Raptor and smoked it. He also tells me he has no problem pulling the front wheels up in any gear. (he couldn't wheelie the Warrior, not even in first :P ) The only thing it needs is a new pipe. He also says it's real stable even in the air he can throw it around.

well the yfz is nothing like the warrior... everything is completely different... and the warrior isn't hard to wheelie lol my friend who has minimal mods can just be going down the trail in like 2nd or 3rd... and pull it up and ride it for like 10 seconds.. how he does it?? don't ask me i have a hard time to pop a wheelie on my warrior but i don't try alot to pull wheelies..

alot of guys over on bluetraxx arent fans of the seat but then you have to relize, its a racing quad, your not on it very long and when your cruisin around you'll be on it alot more...other than that i think its steller...and the new trx450r will give it good competition once it comes back out on the showrooms

id like the trx though

I'd definitely go with the YFZ over the Z400 any day. My Snap On dealer and riding buddy has a YFZ. Very impressive! Besides, with all the frame problems on the Z.... I'd just sooner stay away. Ok, so for 04 they fixed "most" of the frame problems..... Not good enough for me. Spend all that money on a quad, then have to strip it down and ship the frame out to Lonestar. $1000 later it's as strong as it should've been from the factory. From what I've read, it seems like the Honda is more rider friendly, or more friendly to the weekend warrior than the YFZ. Although the YFZ is better in performance (according to the mags). I'm a Yamaha guy..... don't want to ride anything else.... Buy Blue!

Don't want to p i s s on your cheerios, but YFZ' s are having frame problems too. If you race or ride real hard on any sport quad the frame will break I don't care what it is.

i will say that i beleive the suspension/weight of a yfz is better then a 400!

im not trying to p i s s anyone off!

i think its a sweet machine but reverse would be nice! it wont rob power so why not have it?
