I was riding about 3 hrs and no problems. I've never had any problems with my Wolverine but we stop for a 10 drink break and when we started our bikes back up mine wouldnt get out if its own way. It will idle, but as soon as u press the throttle it just lugs. If anyone has one of those reverse limiters that keeps you from going fast in reverse until u press the button, thats what it sounds and acts like. My wife has a Trail Boss with this limiter on it and its exactly what my bike does. I installed new plug, tore the carb down and new gas. Nothing same problem. HELP............

Does the Wolverine have the same reverse lever as the Warrior?
If it does it could be a loose wire going to the reverse lever.
Sometimes this wire comes loose and you get the same result as the
throttle limiter.

my Wife's 96 had that problem, after setting the emergency brake... The unit that keeps the engine from reving with the ebrake on was frozen...

Just a thought...
