Hey guys I just got a letter in the mail from Yamaha about a recall on my bike for the rear master cylinder that says it's possible for the fluid to get air in it and cause loss of braking in the rear. They came out with some kind of insulator. I was just wondering if anyone has seen it yet?

Just got that letter today also.

If I remember right there is just a cap on the res for the rear brake, and now they get to spends thousands of dollars (I am sure hundreds of thousands ) to correct for not using a damn .25 cent plastic piece in the first place.

Maybe this also has something to do with the many raptors that have spongy brakes all the time.

BTW none of these problems on the honda

I JUST TOOK MY RAPTOR TO THE DEALER FOR THE RECALL IT TOOK ALL ABOUT 15 MINUTES FOR THEM TO FIX

THEY SAID ALL THEY HAVE TO DO IS DRILL A HOLE IN THE BIKE AND SECURE IT WITH A SCREW TO HOLD IT ON AND KEEP IT FROM VIBRATING OFF THE BIKE WITCH WOULD CAUSE AIR TO GET INTO IT AND LOOS OF BREAKS

ALTHOUGH I DID NOT SEE THE PART THEY SAID ANY NORMAL PERSON COULD FIX IT THEMSELVES BUT WOULD NOT BE COVERED IF ANYTHING HAPPENED
